Law School celebrated Newly-completed Campus on December 1, 2005.

On December 1, Mississippi College School of Law celebrated its new law campus.  An open house and reception for Jackson's legal and business community took place from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. with over 300 alumni and friends attending. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice James Smith Jr., Mississippi College Board of Trustee Chairman Bill Sones, and Mississippi College President Lee G. Royce.

A judicial forum followed the ribbon-cutting ceremony and was moderated by Judge Charles Pickering. The panel of judges were Judge Marcus Gordon, Judge Lamar Pickard and Judge Sharion Aycock.
