Professor Michael McCann is a columnist with Sports Illustrated.com. McCann writes a monthly online column and serves as a resident sports law expert. McCann is a leading national expert on sports law, having been a member of the legal team for former Ohio State football player Maurice Clarett in his lawsuit against the National Football League. McCann received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his LL.M from Harvard University Law School.
